Makes about 1/2 cup
Ingredients:
5 tablespoons salad oil
3 tablespoons crushed red pepper
1 1/2 tablespoons fermented black beans, rinsed and
drained
1 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic
2 teaspoons dry sherry
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions:
Mix ingredients together in a bowl and cover tightly
with aluminum foil. Bring a pot of water to boil.
When boiling, turn down to simmer. Set the bowl on a
rack over the simmering water. Steam for
approximately 45 minutes. Cool, cover the
ingredients and refrigerate until needed. Makes
about 1/2 cup.
